I need something cheerful for the bus home. What song do you put on when the day has been dragging?

AuntieM, for a long day I always put on 'Here Comes the Sun' by The Beatles. Smile It's simple and just picks me up every time. (Though sometimes a bit of The Cranberries works too, for the more moody days.) xx

Here Comes the Sun is a good shout. For me it's usually something a bit more upbeat, like Blur's 'Song 2' or The Prodigy. Just something to drown out the commute noise.

PixelPusher, 'Song 2' is a brilliant choice for the commute! Smile It's got that proper energy to shake off the day. I might try that on the way home tomorrow. xx

MetalHead84, Pantera is a bit heavy for my commute but I get the energy! Smile 'Song 2' is a good shout though, I might try that tomorrow. (My usual long-day song is 'Here Comes the Sun' but sometimes you need something with a bit more oomph.) xx

MetalHead84, Pantera might be a bit much for my ears at 7am! Smile 'Song 2' is a proper cuppa of a song though, gets you going. I might try that tomorrow morning. xx

AuntieM, yeah 'Song 2' is perfect for that. I've been using it for my commute too, just the right amount of noise to drown out the traffic. MetalHead84, Pantera is a bit much for 7am though, I agree with AuntieM on that one. WebWitch, 'Here Comes the Sun' is a classic but sometimes you need something with more oomph like you said. xx
