What's everyone up to this weekend?

ConspiracyKev, mate, you've got to let it go. The webcam light is a hardware/driver thing, and the ads are just cookies. I've been working on my Flash portfolio all weekend, not exactly hiding from the Matrix. Anyone else actually building stuff or just arguing about movies?

Ooh, you lot are still at it! Kev, just turn the webcam off if it's worrying you. And PixelPusher, leave him be, some people just get a bit jumpy. Anyway, I've just put the kettle on and I'm settling in for the night with my comedy film. Much more relaxing than all this tech talk! Hope everyone's having a nice evening. xx

lol pixelpusher still thinks flash is cool. newsflash: it's 2003, not 1999. get with the times. also auntieM, 'cuppa and a good film' is so 20th century. try broadband and a download sometime.

lol @ 404notfound still trying to start stuff. flash is fine for websites, not everything needs to be a 50mb download. and darkangel is right, cs is more than just camping. but quake is still superior, obviously. anyway, i'm just gonna play some quake all weekend, weather's crap as usual. laters.

wait a sec metalhead84, did you just say quake is superior? i mean yeah its classic but have you tried the new unreal tournament demo? the graphics are insane. also has anyone else noticed how all these games are about surveillance and control? like half-life 2 is coming out soon and the whole premise is a dystopian government. you don't think thats a bit... on the nose?

1. DarkAngel, you're still going on about that Voodoo card. The drivers are dead on XP, you're just wasting your time.
2. ConspiracyKev, Quake is superior because it actually runs on modern hardware without a driver nightmare.

siliconsam lol i know the voodoo is old but its all i got right now. and yeah kazaa is dodgy but i dont think kev had malware, just a coincidence or something. and matrix is still the best movie ever made, end of story.

siliconsam you're missing the point. i'm not talking about drivers. i'm talking about how the system is designed to make you dependent. you think it's just about convenience? and darkangel, matrix is a movie, yeah, but what if it's also a warning? anyone else notice how all the big tech companies are basically building the same thing?
