lol pixelpusher 'finish my portfolio site' sounds riveting. maybe you can put your flash experiments on there so we can all watch it crash our browsers. also 'mess around with the new flash beta' is code for 'i have no real plans'. Razz
u mad?
reported for being correct

lol 404notfound you're relentless Razz but yeah the portfolio's coming along, just need to tweak the Flash animations a bit. maybe I'll post a screenshot when it's done so you can all laugh at my 'riveting' work. AuntieM's right though, sometimes you just gotta unplug and step away. anyone else doing anything fun this weekend besides mocking my life choices? Razz

Oh you two, give it a rest! Razz PixelPusher, your portfolio sounds fine, and 404notfound, you're just being a misery. Razz I'm still waiting for the weather to make up its mind, but a cuppa and a film is looking like the winner. Anyone else got something nice planned? xx

ConspiracyKev lol your webcam light flickering is probably just a dodgy driver or something, not the government watching you through kazaa Razz but yeah I get what you mean about the matrix ads, it's like they're everywhere. I'm just waiting for the sequels to come out, hopefully they don't disappoint. Anyway back to the portfolio, I'll post a screenshot when it's done so you can all critique my flash work lol

pixelpusher ok but you're not answering my question. did anyone else notice the matrix ads are everywhere? like on the bus stop near my house, on tv, even in the newspaper. it's like they're trying to tell us something. and my webcam light is still flickering. has anyone else had weird computer stuff happen after downloading from kazaa?

ConspiracyKev seriously, your webcam light flickering is almost certainly a driver issue. Try updating it from the manufacturer's site. And yeah, the Matrix ads are just marketing, they're pushing the new movies. It's not a conspiracy. Razz Anyway, back on topic, anyone else working on web projects this weekend? I'm trying to get my portfolio site finished in Flash.

ConspiracyKev, I'm not ignoring you, I just think you're reading too much into it. The ads are just targeted marketing, they track what you search for. And the webcam thing is almost certainly a driver conflict. Try reinstalling it from the CD that came with it. Anyway, back to the topic - has anyone else tried the new Flash MX 2004 beta? The new timeline features are pretty slick.
